I picked up my 'new' Disco today

I like it - which is a relief. :)
Its a 1994 300TDi, manual. A nice two tone maroon and grey :)

A couple of things I didn't notice on the test drive tho :(

At certain speeds, it shakes like a sh1tting dog with worms :eek:
So, a UJ check and a wheel balance are in order, particularly as the alloys have marks on where weights were stuck on :(

Theres a whine from the gearbox when easing off the throttle.
Fluid change all round I think, then re-evaluate!With fingers crossed....

I need new tyres, as it has Colways AT at the mo, that have about 2mm left.

On the up side, I have a spare set of wheels (possibly Wolfs) with MTs on, pretty much brand new :D

All in all, I'm happy, after a good hoover out and a bit of tlc, she's looking good!

We selebrate with you and your new Discovery.:)
I hope you'l get a lot of fun with your new Landrover, not only at the road, also in the nice hills in England.:p
But, the most important matter is, you have a nice girfriend in your Discovery witch you can take good care of in the garage when ever you want.:o
I presume you'l sovle the problem with the shaking legs.

I've been outside, checking the new girlfriend ;)

The real wife has ridden her, and approves :)

Today, I discovered a nasty noise from the power steering. :(

But I still like her :D
