Idealy a 200tdi CSW but will consider anything in reasonable condition.

Mike Hammond is selling his here (http://forum.landrovernet.com/showthread.php?t=99809), did a fair amount of work to it a few years back, tidy motor:)

Thanks Ben, I had seen that but dismissed it as I read in the defender forum somewhere that the TD was the engine to avoid. It does look a nice motor though and I have PMed Mike to see if its still available. Soft top in winter doesnt sound a good idea either.

I've bought the one off Mike (see above) :). Yes the Disco is a write off, havent been paid out yet as I need to transfer the private plate off it first. I may buy it back and strip the bits off but I dont know how much they will want.

That's a nice looking 90, if you do buy the Disco back is the TDi replacing the TD?

That would be a cracking idea, never knew you had a written off disco. Buy it back and swap the engines over, its a great conversion. Can sell the rest of the disco bits then. Rob brought a disco and we swapped engines, he sold the bits off the disco and actually made a profit:D
