:eek::eek::eek: £1699!!:rolleyes:
Thank god I dont need one! My HP pc cost me a mere £320 3 years ago and as I've fitted 2 gig of RAM, it's dead fast and doesn't crash--I'll be keeping this for a few years yet!:D

er well i got one and yes its the dogs danglys but its got serious software issues
its running windows xp media centre edition and now its started to freeze all the time (after about 20 mins of running )
im basicaly after a decent copy of xp mce so i can re install it
i have got the original code so it will be legitimate
i got my lappy second hand and it was cheeper than the original price because the original owner damaged the recovery disk
so in his infanate wisdom he deleted all the files he put on ........manualy:rolleyes:
so now i wish to format and start again
i have tried to download a copy of win mce but the only ones available are cracked (this is no good when i have the original code)
can anyone help please

u'd be better off tryin to get a recovery disk from toshiba, they usually have the OS etc. in built.

also quoting from another forum...

If you use a XP Pro serial number, it installs XP Pro. If you use a correct Media Center product key, it will load Media Center.

FYI, same goes for Tablet edition. (Both are based on XP Pro, with extra bits installed if CD Key matches)
