I have some holes in mt tailgate on my V6 that I don't have on my 1.8.
What are they for? Am I missing something that I should have? It never came with a load cover.

Load cover didn't fit to the back door, only the side panels.
Only thing I can think of is a rear window dog guard.
Any photos?

Sounds to me like the previous owner retained the dog guard, but left you the holes!:D

In the reply box, click on the paper clip icon and follow the prompts to browse to wherever your picture is saved. The picture needs to be reasonably sized in terms of digital image file size (eg 1000Kb max))

if its 2 big holes along the top with 2 smaller holes lower down it will be for the window dog guard.. s'what i've got on mine!
piccie attached with the pink arrows showing where I drilled mine
but it gives you the advantage that you can buy one of the cheap ones off fleabay that don't have a fitting kit and it'll slot right in!
