Hi I have just brought a 1995 Discovery, and I am trying to change the original factory tape deck with a sony tape deck unit, problem is I cant get any sound from speakers, have been told it is because sony unit has a built in amplifier, my question is how do I by pass the factory amplifier so that the radio works through all the speakers, I have found the factory amplifier and I am hoping that someone else knows how to by pass it, I dont want to run new speaker wires through the whole truck. the sony unit has power going to both speaker wires, where as the discovery only one wire live...help please ? :(:(
