Best ever present

Came home from the office tonight, tired and worn oot, preparing for opening the soup kitchen tomorrow. Got in to find that My son of which i have had no contact for over ten years, had been in touch, well maybe enot him, but his wife, who is now going to make a real effort to get us both to meet in the new year and try to work out the problems we had.
Really mixed up but ever so happy, that at last i know he is well, alive and has kids of which i hope to meet soon.
So now i don't care whats under the tree cos it cant beat that.

Its been a very difficult week. My wife took very ill last week and i was that worried that she might not make xmas, however she seems to have made a wee bit of a recovery, which is good, and with me and young mark possibly going to meet next year, then things are looking up.
Early days of course, but fingers crossed.

Last christams my mother contacted me and we hadn't spoken n been in touch for nearly Ten years.... this year I am out in spain with her and the kids.... Its the best christams present ever....
No matter what has happened its past.... and let it stay that way....

Hope Mrs Hubber is getting better and fingers crossed ......
