Howdy! Welcome to the forum.
If yours is one with a CD changer, and you dont mind losing the changer then you can use an adapter similar to http://www.nexxia.co.uk/iPod_MP3_Adaptors/land_rover.htm but you'll have to take the stereo out of the dashboard to connect this connecter...
this basically works by plumbing the ipod through the audio in channels of the CD changer, and ignoring all the other inputs...
because its been designed for the rover stereo, they've put a price premium on it.. I bought something similar for my Kenwood and it only cost £12!
The other way is to use one of the FM transmitters... I've used the Belkin Tunecast II in mine before I found out about the adapter, and it works great! Not the loudest of inputs, and as long as you pick a frequency thats not touched by any loradiou stations then you should be ok...
And then you need one of these with the associated bits to hold your ipod secure!
http://www.gpsw.co.uk/details/prod2004.html (if you order one of these then make sure you also order the other bits that goes with it! - not like it did!) works out about £20 for a complete mount...

Cheers mate, im from blackpool as well which is quite weird!
My car doesnt have a cd changer built in just a one slot at the front
Would it have the bits built in for a cd changer?
Ive used those transmitters before and never got a decent signal.
Thanks again

Howdy... sorry for delay in replying, i work away during the week without a net connection..
Honestly dont know... can't find any audio manuals on the net for it.. easiest way would be to whip it out and have a look at the back.. its only a couple of pins to take it out....
If it hasn't, and you really want your ipod through the stereo, the only other way (and prolly cheaper as well!) is to get another head unit.. they do a kenwood one at Halfords for £56 including the lead for the ipod! cheap, better sound and MP3 / aux in as well!
