ok bit of a disaster this morning managed to break the lil bit that plugs in to the laptop off now i need to know can you get unaversal ones or do you need to get one specific to the laptop?? help needed asap as i need it and it runs out of harge pretty fast.

What laptop is it?

Or what does the charger put out? Polarity, voltage, amps etc.. I have a box with like 40 old laptop chargers in and can send one onto you for cost of postage if i have one that matches!

its an hp pavilion dv8372ea
charger puts out 19v and 4.74A

Eithere aldi's or lidls have the universal chargers for laptops
