Hi everyone.

Been wanting a SWB landy/RR for ages now. Getting close to buying my first. My summer play car is a locost (Caterham 7 type kit car) picture attached, but you can't even get it out in the winter let alone drive it!!

The Landy/RR will take me to the train station weekday mornings and get muddy on the weekends with a bit of luck.

I'm looking at preferably a V8, for a bit of mudplugging. Budget? well, initially sub £900 so not that many decent ones around? What do you reckon? Unrealistic?

I'm hoping there's lots of people based in the Leeds/York area - and hopefully a decent hill or two!

Ideal motor? Probaably a hybrid just for the sheer looks! Better start saving thoguh!!

Well, see you round,

Mark

Bl**dy h*ll, after looking at that kit car I reckon you'll be the only bloke who buys a Series Landy and thinks it's MORE luxurious than their current car...!

:p :p :p

Welcome to the Forum.

LOL!

Well, we've bought a 1983 SIII SWB pickup! It's actually LESS luxurious than my kit car! Them seats'll have to be replaced!!
Can't wait to get it offroad! For pic see Series forum. Will put more photos on tomorrow!

All the best

Mark and Rachel

£750 sounds a good price to me. She's a fine looking Landie.
