Dog question

We have a Jack Russell 6 years old recently we got a bitch Russell, at first the older dog was not happy and would go for her.
Now they are fine together, they have started doing a mouth wash, licking each others mouth and teeth. Is this some sort of pack behaviour, or are they in love. :eek:

Pack grooming... shows they are bonded and content with each other.

Nice when that happens :) Easier than trying to avoid bloodshed! :eek:

as said above ,i have a cross border collie (bitch) and a cross lurcher (dog),collie has been with us for ages ,lurcher about 2 years now ,both rescues ,and lurcher has only recently learnt his position in our pack ,and bows to her superior position ,to the extent they both curl up together like ying and yang at night lol,but every now and again he tries the line and is put in his place ,with a growl and allows her to (soft) bite him round the muzzle ,bless ,happy hounds (not too differant to human life really ,woman rules the roost really ,even tho the chap likes to think he does sometimes lol ...............
