I went out yesterday to strat my 96 Landrover Disc and she turned over well but would not fire. I checked under the hood and believe I may have some bad gas. So I'll change the plugs and gas filter. And hope for the best. The dealer also wants to change the gas tank because of a recall.
While under the hood I noticed the battery was quite coated with white stuff so I disconnected and cleaned the posts and connectors and now no power anywhere. I checked the battery and it's not in it's prime but should be OK. There is power in the cable leaving the battery,,12 volts. I did a load test and it indicates the battery is weak but there should be ample to turn it over or power the interior lights.
I suspect I may have blown a fuse although I was carefull connecting and disconnecting and there were no sparks or other indication that i caused a short untill I had the battery connections hooked back on.
CHANGE GAS FILTER<<WHERE IS IT?
IF I BLEW A FUSE<<WHERE SHOULD I LOOK?
Any help or other suggestions would sure be appreciated
