Bridgestone DR D689 Tyres

I'm after changing all 4 tyres on my Disc, my choice of tyre is either the Bridgestone DR D689 or the Pirelli SCORPIAN STR both tyres cost £89 each which includes valve and balancing in the cost.

Has anyone used or are using either of the above, the veh will be used mainly on road with some mud tracks.

Can't speak for the Bridgestones, but I have the Pirelli STR on the Disco and they've done really well. 30,000 ish miles and still tread left. They been resistant to damage, much better on sharp rocks than the BF Goodrich AT's I had before. They aren't a terribly aggressive tread so I wouldn't expect to much from them on mud etc.

Finally sliced one on a rock the other day, so now I've gone to 235/85R16; much nicer, particularly if you have an auto.
