Used about 170 rivets in total, plus an entire tube of gutter sealant (brilliant stuff - will be buying some more, I expect!!), most of a tin of Hammerite and about 2 litres of Waxoyl. It's not that pretty (although being covered by paint helps) but it's solidly in and secure. I used longer bolts for the seatbelts (7/16") with Nylocs on the end as well, since the original nuts were a bit rusty and worn

Let's just hope it passes the MOT next week...:Countdown

You should be ok plenty of peeps have done the floor job and passed no problem.

Were the seat belt anchors difficult to remove??????
Mine were a right pain in the butt but a good larruping with WD got the damn things moving after much cursing and swearing. I've known people cut the floor pan out around the anchor bolt before!!!!

Seat belt anchors were a nightmare. I had to cut around the floor and then cut the clevis pins out so I could get them on the bench. One of the bolts came out once I'd welded a new nut on top, but the other one was cut out. They're back in with new bolts and Nyloc nuts below the original captive nuts...
