Excuse me if this has been asked before - I can't find it searching here. I have a 2 year old disco 3 and you will know that the LR phone kit design is very limited (only works with Nokia phones mainly). I have tried to use the LR bluetooth with one of my phones (a current model - SE P990i) and the bluetooth link keeps dropping out when the call is transferred so the phone answers but the car keeps ringing. I have managed to get an SE K850i to work OK so it is not the chip in the car - the car system must not like this symbian Sony Ericsson phone.

Since the P990i is my main phone I wonder if you know how I can turn off the bluetooth in this car so I can use a external bluetooth kit? The car bluetooth interferes when I try that.

I also have a new Freelander 2 and LR have sorted the bluetooth phone properly on this car and it seems to work with just about any phone.

Thanks

3lroverman.

Sorry can't answer your question, I've never tried using the bluetooth on ours. I recommend you have a look on www.disco3.co.uk, a great source of Discovery 3 information.

Cheers.

You can't turn the bluetooth off on the Disco 3 you will just have to stop the phone auto connecting with the car. Try deleting the pairing on your phone. Then buy a Parrot phone kit, very simple to use and fit!
