Hello folks....I messed up by posting in the 'For Sale' section before seeing this introduction section. Too rude for words....

Anyway, it looks like an intersting group and although I don't presently have any L-Rs (I'm an ex SI 80" freak with several machines to my history), I'm hoping to re-engage if I can source something like an 86" SI at an affordable price.

To be honest, I've really joined the forum to offer a load (small load!) of SI 80" bits and original manuals etc for sale to L-R enthusiasts, although I am genuinely interested in L-Rs.

Hope to follow some topics with interest and maybe make contact with some of you if you're interested in anything I'm putting up for sale.

The warning on the For Sale page was added because we were having a lot of 'single posters' along the lines of:

For Sale Land Rover ring this mobile number....

and that was it. I think they were thinking this is some kind of free Ad Mag or Autotrader.

We always have time for genuine enthusiats, even those just emptying there garage of spares. Lets hope you get some 'real' wheels under you soon!
