The India Times business supplement reported on 5th March that an agreement on the sale of Jaguar and Land Rover is not expected to be signed until the week commencing 17th March, at least a week later than earlier media reports had suggested. The paper quoted a Unite trade union spokesman as the source of its story, but noted that senior executives of Tata Motors and Ford, interviewed at the Geneva motor show, indicated there were no fundamental problems in the negotiations.
