Please could anyone let me know if there is a permanent live feed in the boot i could tap into on a 2003 TD5.
I dont particularly want to run a cable through the car to the battery if I can help it .

Depends what its for.. if its for an amp or worklight (heavy current draw) its probably worth running a new live.

I want to wire in a 12s socket for towing using a Smartcom Box which only requires a permanent live feed and an earth , so really its only going to trickle charge the caravan battery and possibly run the fridge when towing ( which I believe only draws a small current anyway ).
Any ideas

Check the wire that goes into the "accessory" socket in the boot, but do not use it to charge a fridge...

Thanks for your comments but it looks like I will have to run a cable through the vehicle from boot to engine bay.

That's what I ended up doing when I fitted my 12S. I ran one from an ignition source (I forget where but it was from the fuse box someplace and it's raining so I'm not going to look now) and the other from the battery with an in line fuse.
2.5mm wire for both.
