I have fuel getting into the engine oil. I presumed it was from the seal around the injectors leaking.

Could a faulty fuel regulator cause fuel to enter the engine lubrication system. The fuel reg does seem to be covered in oil but it is hard to determine if it is engine oil or leaking fuel.

There will be a fuel leak in the pipe that runs under the rocker cover.

What vehicle you have would be a big help, i.e. what model and engine.

Oh look................you've already posted HERE (http://forum.landrovernet.com/showthread.php?t=114014).
TD5 engines are known for this problem. Remove rocker cover, replace fuel pipe, re-attach rocker cover.;)

But also as said could be injector seals. Oil on fuel pressure regulator will be because the half moon on the rocker cover gasket will be leaking.
