I went to my local dealer in Aberdeen today for a spare key and fob as my car only came with one and nearly had a heart attack at the price. The key was £72 plus vat (£84-60), then I would have to take it to a lock smith for them to cut it:eek: and then I neededd to book my car in for them to program it....... at least £40 + vat but probably more... Thats the best part of £150 for a key.....
Are these keys obtainable anywhere else or do any dealers offer them at a realistic price as thats a plain rip off. I know I will have to get it progamed by the sound of things but £72 +vat takes the biscuit. I bought a replacement key and remote for my Rover 200 and it was about £20 all in
