Switch lights

Over a period of a few months, more and more of the instrument switch lights have stopped working, includng the fog light switch, rear wipers, radio volume etc and now the heater controls as well. The switches work in that they do control the relevant instrument, but I can't see which siwtch is which when driving at night. I have taken out one of the switches but can't see a bulb anywhere - or am I missing the obvious! Appreciate any feedback -I'm sure it's a common fault and easily solved, but could do with some advice. The heater is the one that I could really do with getting the bulbs sorted on. Ta

Sorry bout that - I didn't even think about there being much of difference between models, but then I haven't had much of a look at other Disco's.

Mine is a 300Tdi - P Reg

On a 300 disco there is 1 or 2 bulbs depending on which switch 1 green for illumination, 1 orange to show activation they are about £1.15 each from main dealer.

Pull the relevant switch out and the base of the bulb is round with a slot across it, you just twist and out it falls.
