Here's a roof rack I made for my Discovery. I needed to have a roof tent for my trip to Morocco. So' I got stuck in and made this.

No not into mass production. I've thought bout it but, would need more space than I have available. There again, would it be viable? are there any Discovery owners out ther who would want one......market research that's the place to start.

Roofracks ALWAYS sell on ebay, i think for about 80 quid at least, for a standard style one, second hand. Why not just make one more and put it on there and see what you get. Nice work mate, looks good.

If you could make a rack that follows the contours of the Disco roof, like the Safety Devices ones then you would have no problem selling them, I would have thought £250-£300 if they are as good as your pictures look.
