Off Road Jungle Adventures in Cambodia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tss09jraJnY)

Mud, ruts, water, trees, rain, snakes, spiders, snakes and landmines stand in the way of the team reaching a remote waterfall in Koh Kong rainforest.

With a small army of local militia in tow, Daniel and Nii drive along a old army track, on which the bridges have been destroyed by local villagers and landmines litter the countryside, in search of adventure and discovery.

As featured in February 2008's LRM magazine, this is the video from the first day off roading into the Cambodian jungle with the Lone Wolf Transglobal Expedition

The two other soldiers also brought extra weapons, a pistol and another AK47, so in total 3 machine guns and a pistol! It was a very well armed vehicle!!

The wolf at this time was equipped with full expedition gear and food, and had a full compliment of passengers, making the vehicle weigh a lot more than a standard defender, in addition to this, the fuel in the area was of poor quality sapping the power from the engine.

Lessons learnt from this trip were put to very good use in Central America (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1seqvhp8914&feature=user), where the expedition ventured into jungles to reach unexcavated Mayan ruins.

Excellent video and very impressed of the strength of those waffle boards.

Reminds me of when I was a Military Observer there as part of UNTAC in 92/93 investigating ceasefire violations.

Thanks for the support, fortunately, Cambodia is a very different place from 15 years ago, but that must have been quite an experience.
