Well took the freebie over to Hunters of Ipswich on monday evening for them to check for the annoying squeeky noise coming from the o/s front on the tuesday.At around 4.30pm on the tuesday a very nice young ladie phoned me to inform me that it was all sorted and that i could pick it up when i wanted.There then follwed a frantic effort to get to Hunters before 6pm when they closed.I just made it in time through the rush hour and there she stood gleaming,the freebie that is,they had given it a thorough valetting.Still not sure exactly what the noise was as the mechs had gone.All the "very" nice young lady could tell me was that they had taken everything off that they thought could caused the noise and greased everything,so still no wiser what it was.All i know now is that its lovely and quiet,for some reason the car just seems smoother,although thats probably my imagination.Its been two days now and all seems fine,although the"very" nice young lady did say that any probs just to bring it back,and as it was repoted under warranty i still would not have to pay.Hunters were very good i must say,and i didnt expect the valett which was a nice surprise,so i drove home in a nice clean none squeeky freelander with a big smile on my face.I would definately recommend Hunters,they were polite,friendly,prompt in dealing with my car,a lovely showroom to look round and drool over the cars i cant afford,and there coffee was great.A happy ending,for a change:)
