Well today I came across a lightweight for sale - can I have opinions etc from anyone in the know. Here are the details-
1978 (T) Lightweight, 97,000 miles Black 4 wheel drive Stereo Black rag top full carpet and soundproofing. recent overhaul with new drums, tyres and rear axisle. Tannoy cover. Ex MOD - one owner since Price £1,750 Comments please I think its a wee cracker but don't have money until February:tearRolls

DON'T BUY until you have sent someone underneath with a toffee hammer who knows where to hit with the said hammer, and get toffee hammer owner to check bulkhead.

I know this sounds very boring compared with your original post but please do it, I was stung with my first Landy 20 years ago - very pretty but a chassis made of Iron Oxide:Cross:
