Lots of people in both the Freelander Club and MAD Freelanders have used this kit and reported no problems.

i put a 50mm lift kit on my freelander from celtic it was easy to fit but i had a problem with vibration i had to replace the two front drive shafts to cure the problem. i also had to fit wheel spacers as the wheels toe in alot more to bring back the handling

The problem you can get is as said above, vibration from the driveshafts.
The CV joint ball bearings make a very slight groove in the outer part of the joint, the inner joint moves in and out to allow for suspension movement. Normal use isn't really noticable, but lifting the suspension/body means the shafts come out a little bit and runs on the edge of the wear.
Check the tracking once it's fitted.
Try it, but you might need to change the shafts if it vibrates.

Not heard of anyone with excess wear really....have heard of one that was vibrating before fitting and got worse after but probably would have got worse anyway.
