hi i am new to this site just wanted to say hi and to share a little something with you all .
I have owned my TD5 Disco for almost 4 years and one thing i hate more than the word SUV are BMW . Now a supposed gentleman in a nice shiny new BMW was unfortunate enough to pull out infront of me the other day . It was a low speed head on smack from which i was expecting one dead BMW and one slightly scratched Disco , you see i had a full wrap around steel bull bar fitted to my baby . so i got out all smiles knowing full well that my no claims bonus was still intact and so i thought was my Disco.
but oh no , how wrong was i it seems that my bull bar had fallen out with the rest of my Disco and decided to beat up the rest of the car . it 'took out' both headlights the bonnet and also one wing . without a bull bar fitted i would of needed to replace only the number plate .
so for me thats it no more bull bars , although it really did make a nice mess of the BMW..:rolleyes:
