buying advice needed

hi,
i'm thinking of buying a year 2000 disco. i used to have a 110 so i'm familiar with what to look for regarding the chasis etc but do you have any other things to look for? the engine has 75,000 miles on it. are there any areas i should look at? really anything at all would help.

secondly, what sort of real world fuel economy could i expect under mixed A road / dual carriageway conditions?

Check the sills rear load area floor pan and wheel arches. remember there's a lot more steel in a disco than there is in a defender. If it has air con check for leaks. and if it's a td5 make sure all the electrics work the way they're supposed to.
