What (and what road) is it? (36)

Here we go.

Last time I did one of these all you Land Rover-loving sports-car-addicted old :rolleyes: guys got it straightaway.

So there we were at the lights, and this cool car comes alongside. "Something something something" says Adrian. Naturally I could hear nothing of what he said above the noise of the 6cyl engine burbling away.

When he'd finally explained what it was - it shot off. I mean seriously shot off. Now V8s and 6cyl sound nice. This sounded - well - unbelievable. In fact, I could hear it over and above the 6 cyl. TDF. In fact, I still want one.

So what is it? I've no idea what model it is. I did very well to get the camera out of the bag, and Adrian did even better to chase after it.....

And what road where we on? (Number of road please) You can tell us where we were approaching but that should be fairly obvious.

No idea about the car but the road is the N340 coast road.

But the idea is that you get the car first, and then, you go in for the bonus point. Not road and then car.

Basically. Road number no countie, without the car. Although well done, for the road bit. Spot on. Yes, it is the N340 coming into San Pedro Alcantara (15.22 today).

All you have to do now is work out a few fast cars. It's not one of those Porsche thingies by the way. I don't like those.

This is sleek. Well-designed. And goes like sh!t off a stick. Or at least it did at the traffic lights at San Pedro Alcantara. Although naturally we caught it up in the Santana...

TBH I have not seen many of them.

A rich monied car in the Marbella area?....Oh! and it isn't a Ferrari either. Well it isn't red is it? So it can't be one of those. :confused:

In reverse order...

No Sniff, you do not get a point for the colour. I did not ask for the colour. But you can be commended for good use of initiative. :)

Grudging point for AJ who was in there with the road number although didn't bother with the car. It is a car and road quiz, AJ. Not either/or. Anyway you can have a point because a) I am nice and feeling charitable and b) just in case there is anyone out there who doesn't know, you have a poorly leg...:fiddle:

A point each for Matt and Madoobri. It could be a Gallardo. It could be a Murcielago. Next time we are stuck at the lights together I will get Adrian to yell at them over the noise of our 6 cylinder and their V10/V12 and see if we get a response.

So the winner is Matt. Because he guessed Lamborghini first. Well done Matt. :)
