If anyone is interested....

I can get hold of identical ones to those on the vehicle wiring products website for £20.50 including the postage - almost a whole £3.00 saving !?!

However, I can also get a triple set up for £25.50 including the postage.

They come complete with the horns, compressor, pipe work, fittings, suitable relay and fitting instructions. But no wiring, although this could be included at extra cost.

Fitting the horns is not difficult, however they must be run through a relay.

Basically....

You need a fused power feed to the relay, an earth to the relay, the feed from the horn button (take this from the existing horn) and finally a feed from the relay to the compressor on the air horns.

The main power feed can be taken directly of the battery and run up the bulkhead on a defender.

All you need to do then is decide where you want to put them....

Then you can scare the living daylights out of the next person who cuts you up !!! :p

I've got air horns on my Series III - they're pretty load but don't sound anything like as deep as the ones on artics.

They can still scare people whitless when they pull out in front of you :yay:

I'm after a deep horn as well, any recommendations? Have looked but not sure what hz is deep, and can't listen to sound files at work.

What hz is a fire engine one?
