Hi,
This might be useful.
AA Fuel Price Report (http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/fuel/index.html)
Monthly reports (PDF files) showing average UK regional prices followed by European prices.
Just back from Norway where we were paying up to 13.5NKR for a litre of diesel, which is about £1.40! So we were pleasantly surprise to find diesel at £1.22 when we came back!
Cheers,
Ross.

Hi,
Okay, I missed off the .9p!!! Oops.
Cheapest round here (Hawick in the Scottish Borders) for diesel is Morrisons at 122.9p/l, the local independant is at 124.9p/l.
Good site for comparison is
http://www.petrolprices.com/
Only 4 stations in the comparison for us as we are fairly rural

If you (or anyone) is passing my neck of the woods they can have (7) 20 liter jerry cans full for whatever my price is (American prices). They are the Army jerry cans in plastic with a screw top. I don't really like them so I figure I should get rid of them and get some nice metal ones (maybe just 2 for now). Anyhow, serious about the offer.

I don't think this helps. but while on holiday in Tenerife I did notice that petrol & diesel were about the same price at about 70p per litre. It must be subsidised at that price.

Hi,
Just back from Norway where we were paying up to 13.5NKR for a litre of diesel, which is about £1.40!
The price of diesel / petrol fluctuates literally from day to day here. I always fill up on Sunday, the price can be up to NOK 2 cheaper than the rest of the week. (NOK 10 = £1 at the moment)
During the past 10 days the price of diesel has shuttled between NOK 10,75 and NOK 13,50.
When you think of all the oil Norway gets out of the North Sea, you'd think we'd have the cheapest fuel in Europe, but Norwegian politics has always been based on tax, tax, tax.
Over 80% of the pump price is tax
