Rear end noise?

I have a 2001 TD4 that has an odd noise at the rear that sounds like the brakes rubbing when I turn at slow parking speeds. Any ideas anyone??

What do the tyre treads look like? Does it feel like the brakes are on going round corners?

Thanks for the reply... The rear tyre wear is even & it doesn't feel like the brakes are on.
