300Tdi head and injectors

Hi everyone,

I am about to buy a head and injectors for my 300Tdi, but then thought to myself "I'm going over to the UK for Billing, so perhaps I can buy them there at a better price"

I can get a brand-new head (just the bare head, no valves etc.) for R5130 and a set of injectors and glow plugs for R4576 which is a total of R9706 or around GBP650 for the lot.

Is it worth my while looking at getting the head and injectors in the UK?

I did get it sorted. I'm in the Congo at the moment, and internet access is sketchy at best, so I can't always check the forum.

As it happens, Emlyn has blown up his 300Tdi by putting a con rod through the block. He's going to scarp the vehicle, so I'll buy the head and other bits from him.

JimGNR, thanks for the offer, but as I say, I'll use Emlyn's head. Saves me the hassle of carrying a 20kg head from UK to SA.:D
