Hi all, my 2000 1.8k make's a loud drownin noise at 4000 rpm, allmost as if exhaust is blowing (which it's not).(also it's not a humming like a bearing has gone)I have took the under tray off and there are no sign's off any loose or rusted (ird) brackets everythin looks solid vgood condition, any clue's ?????????????

its been a while but managed to sort out the annoying noise at 4000 rpm,it indeed was the ird bracket,it had split on the top bolt hole(only noticed it buy chance)where it bolts to the block/water pump,either weld the bracket up or buy new one,anyway its sorted now no more noise
