I appear to have resolved the problem with lack of power over 3000 revs :) as i took the car to Germany at the weekend and it drove like a dream, HOWEVER :( it now loses power in low revs. On the way home I was driving up the ramp onto the ferry and was stopped in a queue on the steep part of the ramp. I engaged first gear but there was absolutely no power despite dipping the clutch several times and trying to rev the engine. In the end i had to roll back down the ramp and park the car on the level deck. Once i was back down the ramp i drove forward onto the level deck without a problem. The car has driven normal ever since. I noticed over the preceding days the the car was sluggish pulling away in first gear before this happened. I have recently checked all the pipes and replaced one that was split and replaced the MAF. I'm due to go caravanning next week can any one HELP:eek:.
