Hi,
I have always been interested in the early 60's Land Rover Roadless 109 conversion and I was wondering if anyone has any data such as how many were originally built and how many now survive?
Thanks,
Matt.

I don't know about any figures, but you might find these links intesting. On the second one, scroll down and find the roadless literature.

Roadless converted a lot of tractors into 4wd, mainly using Ford skid units, County were another company ( maybe the same people )

Sad tractor geeky mode now:D
Roadless and county were two different companies.
Roadless, like county, initially started with four equal sized wheels on their designs, however roadless became more in favour of the now more common format of smaller front wheels. They also converted ford skid units into forklifts.
One of them (I think it was county) also converted transit vans into 4x4 configurations.
