whats this part called??

One of the steering rods is bent on my disco. I need a new one, its the one with the damper attached to it, can i buy a complete rod, with ball joints on them, ready to fit? and whats this rod called is it the track control arm, if i can get a complete rod, where can i get it i also want to get a damper.

The track rod joins the wheels, the drag link goes from the steering box to the ns wheel.

Part numbers vary from model to model. You are not specific as to which Disco (or age) yours is.
Try Paddock Spares website (or phone them) to help you order the right parts. If in any doubt, get someone competent to fit the parts and set-up the steering correctly. Be safe!;)
