Ok a bit of a long shot.. I can buy a new one for £40 but am not so keen to do this as I don't really intend using it more than once, I cannot be alone.
Has anyon got one knocking around they are willing to sell me? or even loan me for a few weeks for some beer tokens / or in fact beer ?
My mate has one but its his only one at his garage so he may need it back suddenly.
Anyhow, its to take my v8 which isn't that heavy.
cheers
Hi
Just a suggestion, why not buy new at £40(sounds a bargain to Me)
Do the job, then sell it on/ rent it out?
Regards.

I have one you can borrow for a few weeks until I start mine but I am a little distance from you!
You should have said when you called to Neils as I am only a mile away!
It would probably cost you more in fuel than £40!

buy it @ £40 thats cheaper than the fuel going back & 2 borrowing one, although the one I purchased some 20 years ago won't support a big engine like a V8
Idea for small engines , gearboxes, diffs, plus I made a kind of workstand to adtrach on it it so can use for other purposes like dismanleing bits off landies, got a bowl under so can wash parts in parraffin after.
They do make life easy, mine spins round 360 so sump etc faces up, think also as made of steel so likely to have a good scrap value in years to come.

Would have to find an excuse to get to that end of the country then though to return it. Thanks anyhow :)
