Hi all am new to this so will try and give as much info. as i can, I own a 96 300tdi discovery.
I have a problem with the blower not going on any setting, I have gone through all fuses, all ok, taken the blower out runs lovely when attached to 12v, I've followed the loom about and found a relay and a ceramic lump under the passenger side of the dash, when I put a tester on this all the pins are connected,(has this bit gone pop??).The relay seems ok.
I hope this gets some response I'm a bit lost at the mo.

Ian

Ps Something that has just come to mind, when i changed the lamp in the centre consule that lights the cotrols there it blew immidiately, connected with the above ???

Resistor packs usually fail on the odd speed or all but the highest on a lot of cars.

We are getting quite a lot of problems with the digita; diplay tyes of controls on a few makes of car. P38s, BMW, Mini, Rover and Vauxhalls mainly.
