I take it you mean the fuel sender situated in the fuel tank?
If so, access to it is via the boot. Lift up carpet and expose rust and a central, circular access flap. Once off, this will expose the fuel sender. You need to be really careful with the unions as more often that not they are seized and the whole thing disintegrates.
If they do come undone, you are laughing...all you need to do then is lift it out.
You obviously need to be careful and depressurise the fuel system (by taking out the fuse to the sender, start the car until it stalls), take off negative lead off battery and done have loads of fuel in the tank and of course, clean up the access area to the sender (dont want stuff inside the tank.
good luck

Thansk Jules.
I was able to loosen the unions without breaking anything. How much must I have to push the union/lines to remove them from the sender itself?
I assume the sender means the same as fuel pump???
After I remove the lines from sender, is it just a matter of rotating the 170mm (approx) round sender to remove?

-No worries. now I got the info from the manual, I have not personally done this. In the manual it states:
Disconnect multi plug
disconnect unions
Using special tool LRT 19-001 (clamp) remove pump unit retaining ring and withdraw unit from fuel tank.
So from this it would appear you take out the retainning ring (the castellated ring) and remove the unit. Be careful as there will be a load of fuel in there.
Good luck!
