I have been looking at these Khyam tents, as I fed up putting up my normal 3 man tent, as even if it's not raining it still takes about 20 mins to fully put up, but these Khyam tents take only a few minutes to put up. Does anyone have any experience of these tents?

yes mate, got a tourer 200, which is actually a big 2 man with huge living area that I can stand up in:)
Awkward the first time with legs, clips etc but still takes 10mins to do on that one as there are a few more poles to do and pegs. However mine isn't the smaller quick erect type like the Highlander? ones.
google them for cheap deals (only paid £150 for £400 rrp) and they have links to putting it up vids.

We have one for Scouts, gets used as the leaders tent/store room..
Easy to put up, big almost dome like in the middle (all the poles just click together) and a like lean to bit (a couple of extra poles).. 5 mins to get up, if that then just peg it out.. you end up with a sleeping area (that technically sleeps 4 - although have only had max of 3 leaders sleeping, and there was a bit of room left over).. and area under dome for sitting etc..
I borrowed it when I went of holiday to devon earlier this year.. no complaints about the tent from me..
only thing is when packed up the bag is big

I was thinking of getting the Biker tent http://www.khyam.co.uk/product_tent.asp?category=Khyam%20QE&type=Backpacking/Cycling, as when I go camping I ussualy need somewhere to store the cooker and table, rather than always having them in the back of the landy.

Yeah, I got the highlander (well the American equivelent) it is excellent. Taken it to Tunisia twice were it was used 17 nights each time, moved every day. The kids used it they were 15 and 13 the first time we took it. The reason I bought it was I was fed up having to pack up "my" roof tent then having to start again and do their's. The Kyham really solved the problem, they can break camp now as quickly as I can. I vsed the tent in Cornwall last year, again it was excellent.
We also bought a Kyham wind break, this is good because the "poles" fold in half so it goes in the back of the Discovery easily.

Finally got round to ordering a Kyham Biker tent, as it was my birthday last Sunday, so should have it in the next few days, the cheapest I could get it was £148, which isn't bad as it retails at £185. Will post up pics once it arrives.

For fast setup I love my GoLite Hex 3, no porch tho.

Yeah, that makes sense. 99% of my camping over the last 10 years has been on foot or from a wee boat rather from a motor, so I love all the lightweight technical camping gear.
We did have a great time, it's a shame you never made it, look forward to meeting you next time though! :)
This was breakfast time this morning!

The tent arrived today, took me about 5 mins to put it up with it pegged down, it's a bit fiddly taking it down but luckily it comes with a big bag, so easily packed away, unlike my other tent. Here are a few pics of the tent.

Us motorbicyclist types have been using Khyam tents for more years than I care to remember. They really are worth having, especially if it's chucking it down as you can be pitched up, kit chucked in and in your doss roll waiting for the kettle to boil in 5 minutes flat. My Khyam has had at least 16 years of abuse at motorbike shows and rallies all over the country and it wasn't until two years ago that it needed a squirt of re-proofing juice.
They come in all sizes, from one man to football team , and on the very few occasions I've heard of people having problems the Khyam people have delivered excellent customer service. :yay:
Highly reccommended.

I found most of my information about the tent on motorcycle forum's especially the Biker tent, as you say nothing but good reports about all the tents.
