hi all, new member here, im in the motor trade and deal with a lot of accident damaged salvage, bought a discovery a couple of weeks ago (ill be honest, i bought it to weigh in!) but after having a poke around it ive decided to repair, just wondering if anyone knows of the car or used to own it, reg number is xkm 949

if the sticker on the air filter box is right its been tuned by van aaken, have tried to contact them with no sucess (presume they have gone bump), would be nice to know what they offered in their conversion if anyone knows

shes had some money thrown at her over the years, side steps, 300 front end conversion, momo steering wheel (proper one with a land rover badge, presumably a dealer supplied accessory, how much would that have been new?!) plus a bundle of receipts for new parts fitted and mots going back to 2000 (unfortunately not a full set to back the 36000 mileage up!)

anyway, im off to fire up the welder.......

This might also help find out what they do

Have you spotted any new bits under the bonnet? I was under the impression that most of their kit was bolt on stuff, leaving the ECU as it is.

Good luck
