TURN CAP LOCK OFF!

The warning light means one of your axles are about to fail. This might result in an explosion so do not drive it.

oh, welcome to the forum :)

nah i expected someone to sort of see it and reply telling the user i was wrong etc.... as my "red warning light showing two axles" is amber and means diff lock is on i was thinking it was just that. Turns out it was, the next day i sent private message to the user, explaining my little joke and it was the difflock light.

Apparently i did scare her. She believed me.

But i dont think she holds it against me.

Just wish someone with a td5 had replied telling her what i said was b0ll0**s.

My plan failed and i was left feeling somewhat guilty.

Now she needs to fix her abs and traction control lights after "driving through a lake".

Ah, a woman, that'll explain the caps then - just trying to get herself heard in this "man's world" Ha ha.

Hope she sends you the bills for all the taxis that she used while a perfectly good Discovery was sat on the drive.

....but seriously though, a couple of trips up the motorway and you could've been right....

Poor lady, just be a bit more gentle in the future.

That is the sort of needless replies this site does not need.People asking for advice do not need stupid answers from idiots that should know better. You are a P##t

I would just like to say that I agree with caravanman,
I used to drive a discovery 300tdi a couple of years ago
with three children in it and I was told if you get a blowout
when your doing 50mph it will flip your car
(it made me sell it & get an omega 2.5v6)
I was then wrote off by a silly boy doing 70 in a 30 leaving me disabled
I am now back discovery TD5
