We had a problem with the fuel flow solenoid and discovered the only way to 'open' and 'close' it was to connect the solenoid connection direct to the battery. This would allow an engine start but of course the only was to stop was to disconnect the temp lead from the battery. Obviously there is a problem within the loom or relays. An inspection revealed that an override plug had been inserted to by pass the spider (??) behind the das area.

Does anyone know if this is a common problem and if so how is it fixed or maybe know of a relay that may be causing this problem?
Thanks in anticipation

Just run yourself a new feed for the stop solenoid from the switched live side of the ignition switch!

Tom
Had considered this option and will probably have to do it...just frustrating not being able to figure out what the problem is.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
