Fuel Consumption

Hi there

We're considering getting a 3.9 ES Auto ( '94'ish) as a towcar and wondered what the fuel consumption was like. We'd ideally like to convert it to LPG - anyone with experience of this too and what's the MPG on it?

Great towcar, in fact great in every way...but don`t expect much more than 14..Discos are around 1-2 worse off than RRs in my opinion, and my Classic does 16. Good news is it doesn`t really matter whether its towing or light, its got that much grunt it returns the same...which is still only 14 of course!! LPG it and it`ll do the equivalent of around 25...you can`t afford not to buy it.
