OK,
Just took delivery yesterday. Couldn't find anything in the FAQ...
Official tyre pressures are:
c.42 Rear (load dependent)
28 Front
Mine were set to 42 front and rear, which gave a nice tight ride albeit a little disturbed at speed over undulating tarmac.
Dropped the fronts to 38.
Fractionally more wallowy up front.
What are other people's choices?
Is braking and cornering drastically reduced by this front tyre pressure?
What sort of wear pattern do you get at 42 vs. 28 psi?
Why such a great difference front-rear - disco2.com states it's to improve braking/cornering?
Also, how long should I expect my stock Wranglers to last on road?
At danger of veering off topic:
Is there a lot of difference btwn different types of road tyre?
Any recommendations out there for tyres to use 90% on road, with the occasional dose of horse trailer towing across fields?
J.
