Hi!
Deep thoughts about bright future: 50A Deta gel battery or 50A Optima gel battery? The price is almost the same, seller says that Optima is ūbername for quality that is so-so and they will not import that no more, they are going for Deta, yet there are Detas and Optimas in stock right now. Planned usage: nice Disco1, winch, off-road (but not competition-style hardcore), a bit of wood works (pulling lumber out of forest, a bit, not much) additional lights, normal stereo (if that counts). Your thoughts?

ive heard the opposite opitmas come in two types red top and yellow top the red top is good for winching and things like that and doesnt like going flat but the yellow top is for long lasting and can be run right down and be fine and has good starting power ive never used deta but id say go with optima they are best...

What I've heard that some clever not-so-good people from Asia region have made 'Optima' batteries that actually are not so much Optima. So that could be one of the reasons for the bad things.
