was using my hi-lift tonight, helping a fellow rover driver chaning a puncture and there landrover jack had given out, so got out the hi-lift and without any warning & suddenly the front foot of the jack sheered, and literally threw there 90" into the tarmac just luckely there was now one under the motor at the time.
this could be a serious hazard so please check your jacks, make sure that they are okay, and keep em lubed if they are on the outside of your motor.
also just to add that there was no one and nothing in the 90 when it was being jacked up. so the vechile weighed almost nothing, espeically as the jacks rated to 3000kgs.
please bear this in mind
