Hi all, I wonder if someone could advise me - I want to post a report on our recent trip to Morocco, but it's likely to be a large file size inc pictures, can anyone help me to put it on the site??
Currently it's in Open Office format, but could be translated into Word if that helps??
Cheers
Dave
Submit it into the Articles Section if you consider that to appropriate. It won't be published until one of the Team has a look first and they'll be able to assist along the way. Uploading images isn't a problem and I don't think you're restricted on the amount. If you need assistance just shout.
If you want to put it into the Exped Section cut and paste your text into a normal post but you will be limited on the amount of images you can place in one post (15 I think).

Hi AJ, thanks for your reply.
I'm not too keen on the idea of putting in the Articles section as I've just had a look and it struck me as an area not much used/visited.
I'm writing up the trip to remind myself of a great time but equally importantly to share our experiences with others so that they might benefit - so it needs to go somewhere that's likely to be read !!
Cheers

You use openoffice so you like free openware, so post your paper on google documents (http://docs.google.com/) and link to your publication on this forum and other forums of interest.
That way you have one point of reference for your work which will remain under your editing control and won't suddenly disappear if a forum folds or decides your article is no longer desired.
here is one of mine for example : http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dhfmtstj_0ghdpj7jh&hl=en

Hi PinkSeriesIII, thanks very much for that suggestion, I will look into it straight away. Still in the process of writing my tome - getting a bit nervous now that everyone else will think it's boring ****, but it wasn't to me.
It has convinced me that travelling/adventuring is in my blood.
Incidently, that's a super article you put together re the Trannybox 230, well done.
Cheers

It was my first long-distance trip to a more interesting place - it won't be the last. !!!!!!!
I fancy a cultural trip next time, Rome, Greece and Egypt I think, that should be quite a learning opportunity. :D:D:D

hahaha , well , i actually donīt want to go  , but i need to , yeah right.
My father goes there every year for over 10 years now , he goes with a camper , and he canīt stop talking about it everytime he is over here for a holliday , so itīs not my fault , i need to go there.
Iīm also planning a trip to Kaapstad so i need the practise ;-)
