Cruise Control Fault got me Beat

Hi All,
I have now tried everything to try and get my cruise control working that everybody has advised and from all the other posts.
So far I,ve checked and refitted all of the vacuum hose, replaced the brake pedal switch, checked the rotary coupler and swore at it very loudly.
I am now stumped. Any other ideas? Am I missing something?
What really p***** me off is that I doubt I'll ever use it but I just hate to be beat by anything mechanical.

Obviosuly you are going over the right speed for it to engage and pressing the switches in right combination ?

Chances are its the ECU thats borked then.

There is a long thread on one of the landy forums somewhere about how to test it but it went well over my head.

google search for on testing the ecu. I got to the same point as you and gave up
