Hey, I bought a set of side steps for a disco 1 off of Ebay but i have no idea actually how to fit them as im not the smartest tool in the shed.
Replys with be greatlly appreciated.

If you have rubber-covered ones that attach to the chassy I might take a few pictures of how mine are fitted so it could give you an idea....

I got some with the rubber steps and fitted mine a couple of months ago.
Essentially you have the step, and for each step you have 2 brakets. On the braket there are 2 bolt holes to attach the step to. On the remainder of the braket you have 1 body mount hole and one rigger mount holw (which you need to drill).
Really rubbish explanations I know but this might help. The steps attach to: at the front the outrigger and the A pillar body mount, at the rear, its outrigger and body mount.
If you have the brackets they are a doddle to fit, if you dont, it could be more complicated. I can take pics and try and dig out the manual though I'm sure its online, they were BA 100s
